The Reality of Personal Safety

Self-defense isn't about living in fear — it's about living with confidence. Knowing that you have practical skills to protect yourself changes how you carry yourself, how you assess situations, and how you respond under pressure. It's empowerment in its most literal form.

Statistics show that 1 in 3 women will experience some form of physical violence in their lifetime. While we can't control what others do, we can control our preparedness. Self-defense training provides both the physical skills and the mental framework to respond effectively in dangerous situations.

What You'll Learn in 6 Weeks

Our women's self-defense course is structured as a progressive 6-week program. Each week builds on the previous one, covering: situational awareness and de-escalation (Week 1), breaking grips and creating distance (Week 2), ground defense and escapes (Week 3), striking for self-defense (Week 4), defense against common attacks (Week 5), and scenario-based training (Week 6).

Every technique taught is selected for real-world effectiveness. We focus on gross motor movements that work under stress, not complex martial arts techniques that require years of practice. The goal is giving you usable skills in a short timeframe.

Meet Coach Zaide

Coach Zaide brings both technical expertise and a deep understanding of the unique concerns women face. She creates a training environment where questions are encouraged, boundaries are respected, and every student progresses at their own pace.

As a female instructor, Coach Zaide understands the importance of creating a space where women feel comfortable being vulnerable while learning. Many students have shared that training with a female coach made them more willing to try the course in the first place.

What Makes This Course Different

This isn't a one-day seminar where you learn a few moves and forget them by next week. Our 6-week format allows for repetition, muscle memory development, and progressive skill building. By the end, the techniques are in your body — not just your head.

Class sizes are limited to 12 participants to ensure individual attention. The environment is women-only, supportive, and judgment-free. No prior martial arts or fitness experience is required.
