Ages 3–6: Little Ninjas
Our Little Ninjas program is designed specifically for children ages 3 to 6. At this age, the focus is not on complex techniques — it's on building the foundation. Classes emphasize coordination, balance, listening skills, and basic body awareness through age-appropriate games and drills.
Children in this age group learn to follow instructions in a group setting, take turns, and develop confidence in their physical abilities. The mat is a safe space where they can explore movement without pressure. Many parents notice improvements in focus and behavior at home within the first few weeks.
Classes are 30 minutes long, which is the ideal attention span for this age group. Our coaches are trained to work with young children and use positive reinforcement to keep them engaged and excited about coming back.

By age 7, children are ready for more structured Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instruction. Our Kids BJJ program introduces fundamental positions, escapes, and submissions in a safe, controlled environment. Students learn the importance of respect, discipline, and perseverance.
At this stage, kids begin to understand the 'why' behind techniques. They develop problem-solving skills on the mat that transfer directly to the classroom. Light positional sparring is introduced gradually, always with safety as the top priority.
Classes run 45 minutes and include warm-ups, technique instruction, drilling with partners, and supervised positional games. Belt promotions give students tangible goals to work toward.

Our Youth BJJ program bridges the gap between kids and adult classes. Students ages 10 to 14 learn more advanced techniques and begin developing their own game. This is where many students discover a lifelong passion for Jiu-Jitsu.
The youth program emphasizes anti-bullying strategies, self-defense awareness, and building the kind of quiet confidence that comes from knowing you can handle yourself. Students who want to compete have opportunities through local tournaments, while those who prefer recreational training are equally supported.

Your child's first class is completely free — no commitment required. They should wear comfortable athletic clothing (no zippers or buttons). We provide loaner gis for trial classes so you don't need to purchase anything upfront.
Arrive 10 minutes early so your child can meet their coach and see the mat area before class begins. Parents are welcome to watch from our viewing area. Most children are nervous for the first 5 minutes and smiling by the end.
